The Ex-GSM 01 non-incendive cell phone is designed to ensure safe communication in hazardous areas. It is made of highly durable, lightweight, splash-proof materials and includes features that will assist you in your daily work.
In Ex-hazardous areas, flexible and safe communication requires a reliable mobile device. The Ex-GSM 01 provides that safety for your work with its ATEX approval for non-incendive use in Zones 2 and 22. The robust housing of the Ex-GSM 01 also satisfies all requirements in accordance with the protection rating IP54. Rubber parts protect the cell phone against bumps. Rubber seals and a contiguous keypad help keep out splash-water and dust.
The Ex-GSM 01 is a triband mobile phone and supports all GSM 900/1800/1900 networks across the globe. Additionally the Ex-GSM 01 has an integrated push-to-talk functionality so that you can use your mobile phone as a radio unit.
Integrated office features, like phone book, calendar, and to-do-list can be synchronized from a phone using a synchronization service (depending on your network operator or service provider) or from the PC using an infrared connection (suitable PC Suite required).
