The SDT 120 EX is specially developed for the use in hazardous areas or environments where explosion risk exist, and has been approved and certified for this purpose by the national institute for extraction companies (INIEX 85.101.049) This sturdy and robust Ultrasonic Detector is ideally suited for performing preventive and predictive inspections on all mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic or electromagnetic systems. Locating ultrasonic sources originating from air, gas, liquid or vacuum leaks, or friction in moving parts is fast, safe and easy.

The SDT 120 converts ultrasounds to audible frequencies and gives a visual representation of levels on its LED display. The SDT 120 EX will detect and locate ultrasounds even in a noisy environment, because it does not react to extraneous, audible noise. Its memory enables the SDT 120 EX to measure and establish a reference value for a system, then to check his evolution, and to detect component malfunctioning. In other words, it is worldwide the only EX proof ultrasonic detection system that makes it possible to switch to a predictive maintenance.

1 year limited warranty on material and labour for the receiver SDT 120 EX-proof, with exception of the battery and accessories (6 months). Warranty voids if items have been wrongly used, opened or disassembled.
