| The Intrinsically Safe Flat Panel Monitor features a 28 button customizable keypad. The non-incendive flat screen display, in a NEMA 4X enclosure, along with the purge control system, has been FM approved for use in a Class I, II, or III, Division 1 and 2, hazardous area. "Y" Purge is certified for Groups A - G and features an alarm to alert the operator of a possible failure, wheras "X" Purge is certified Groups C - G, is micoprocessor controlled-self ajusting, complete with solenoids, spark arrestors, outlet valve, data signal and AC interlocks, and automatically diverts energy away from the unit in the event of a system compromise. The I.S. display comes in 12, 15, 18, and 21 inch sizes completely assembled with enhanced backlighting available that more than doubles the brightness.
An optional signal extender can be installed to route the video feed and user input up to 300 feet through a CAT 5 cable. By this, the Intrinsically Safe Flat Panel Monitor may be connected to a computer system located in a Safe Area. There is also a fiber optic signal extender that will carry the video signal 3,000 feet. That's over a half-mile!
