| The versatility of the Ultrawave 170 is enhanced with the use of the contact magnetic sensor pictured above. Ideal for monitoring slow speed bearings, trouble shooting hydraulics, pneumatics, and steam traps, listening for corona, arcing, and tracking inside switch gear panels, and more. Its compact size and rugged stainless steel shell matches the longevity of all the products in the Ultrawave line up.
Like all sensors for the Ultrawave 170, it features plug and go sensor recognition. Plug in the sensor and the 170 automatically switches to the appropriate measuring mode and scale. The sensor is supplied with a spiral cable, equipped with the appropriate connectors (depending on the detector) on both sides.
Applications:
Bearing condition monitoring, condition-based lubrication scheduling, gearboxes, injectors, valves, steam systems, hydraulics, cavitation, inspection of switch gear panels without opening door, and more
