The threaded sensor is used in applications where permanent contact ultrasonic monitoring is required. Applications can range from slow speed bearings on paper machines, critical gear mesh applications on gearboxes, and hard to reach bearings on multi-axis machining centres. A central junction box can tie several sensors together allowing your operator to collect readings from a central point. The sensors can also be equipped with thread on needles for portable inspections.
This sensor can be used in combination with all versions of the SDT ultrasonic detectors (SDT 120 EX, SDT 150 and SDT 170). The hand held SDT equipment will sense the presence of the sensor and will automatically change to the appropriate settings, scales and units. The sensor is supplied with a spiral cable, equipped with the appropriate connectors (depending on the detector) on both sides.

Bearing condition monitoring, condition-based lubrication scheduling, gearboxes, injectors, valves, steam systems, hydraulics, cavitation, and more
