The A4900 - Vibrio M instrument allows you to perform all basic vibro-diagnostics measurements such as bearing condition, identification of mechanical faults and lubrication assessment. The A4900 - Vibrio M is equipped with 4 MB of memory for data storage. Data memory allows you to perform off-route and route measurements.

The professional software DDS for Vibrio M can be downloaded from the Adash website free of charge. Our expert system for automatic machine fault detection is included.

    This screen gives an overview of the conditions of the followings by traffic light:

    - unbalance
    - looseness
    - misalignment

    Traffic light on the left (vertical) indicates the overall vibration condition
    Traffic light on the right (vertical) indicates the bearing condition

    Vibration levels

    A4900 measures the RMS vibration level; and compare with the severity limits of ISO10816-3. Readings change in the Traffic Light color when an alarm is exceeded.

    Bearing temperature is measured by infra-red and indicated in the traffic light. Overheating of a bearing can be easily identified in the RED bar as shown in the figure (left side). Temperature reading is shown in another screen.

    RPM is automatically detected and displayed at the bottom of the screen.
    Bearing fault detection

    A4900 Vibrio M measures the g-ENV, which represents the condition of the bearing.

    A4900 Vibrio M also display the vibration time signal. You can visualize the vibration impact due to a bearing fault by looking at its time signal. It is useful in differentiating whether the increase in g-ENV is due to a bearing fault or just lack of lubrication.

    You can also listen to the vibration signal through the audio output, that is a proven technique for bearing fault detection especially for slow rotating machine.
