The MSC-1015 is a battery operated instrument used to electronically simulate outputs from a variety of sensors and transmitters. MSC-1015 uses a menu driven 4x16 character LCD display to establish the appropriate settings.
Power is supplied by 4 "AA" rechargeable internally mounted Ni-Mi batteries which are recharged with the supplied regulated 9Vdc power supply.
The MSC-1015 interfaces to a PC via a front mounted LEMO connector. PC Mode starts automatically when connected to the PC.
Features:
- Simulate accelerometers and various sensors and transmitters
- Menu Selectable RMS, Peak, and Peak to Peak
- Tachometer TTL and OSO Outputs
- BOV Accelerometer testing
- 80V accelerometer testing
- PC Interface and Menu Driven Operation
- English and Metric Menus
- Multi-Language Menu
Output signals are user selectable and include single ended voltage (mV), single ended charge )pC), differential charge (pC), current sinking IEPE (ICP), loop powered current source (mA), tachometer, (TTL), OSO (Optical Speed Output), and BOV (Bias Output Voltage. The frequency range is 1Hz to 10kHz. RMS output voltage is from 10mV to 10V or 10pC to 10,000pC. Outputs can be provided in Acceleration, Velocity, Displacement, Voltage, or Charge.
The MSC-1015 is suitable for inspecting measurement points to ISO 10816 Vibration Standards. The instrument is designed to verify machinery Condition Monitoring Systems and/or Vibration Monitoring Systems that are stand alone or connected to a SCADA / Data Acquisition System.
