(Rotor Kits, Bearing Fault Demonstrators)

Reliability Direct Inc. offers training tools and demonstration units for vibration technicians. Our CMCP600 series rotor kits simulate vibration and rotor position signals under realistic conditions. A short base kit (one natural resonance) and long base kit (two natural resonances) are provided with bearing pedistals that will accept either an accelerometer or eddy probes. The kit allows for the indentification of Rotor Critical Speeds, observe Shaft Relative Signals, Resonance Amplitude Factor, Rotor Dynamic Studies, and Phase Signals The Rotor Kit using sleeve type bearings is primarily studied using Time Based analysis techniques such as time waveforms, orbits, and shaft position plotting, phase, and mode shape analysis. With the optional ball bearing, a FFT type instrument is useful to study the frequencies generated by the bearing.
