Rim and Face and Reverse Dial Indicator Alignment methods have been used for many decades. Rim and Face method often requires the machines to be uncoupled to perform alignment. Reverse Dial Indicator method often requires the machines to be uncoupled to perform alignment. Reliability Direct, Inc. offers commercially packaged fixtures for both rim and Face and Reverse Dial Indicator methods that may be used for a variety of shaft diameters and coupling lengths. These packages greatly expedite the alignment process.
